Para efectos de esta ley, se entiende por subsector de la papa el componente del sector agrícola del país, constituido por las personas naturales, jurídicas o sociedades de hecho, dedicadas a la producción, recolección, acondicionamiento, procesamiento, comercialización y actividades afines de la papa.
