Conforme a lo dispuesto en los artículos anteriores las Corporaciones de Ahorro y Vivienda podrán otorgar créditos mediante el sistema de desembolsos progresivos para el mejoramiento, habilitación o subdivisión de vivienda. Tratándose del sistema de desembolsos progresivos de que trata este artículo, la garantía hipotecaria deberá ser suficiente, de acuerdo con las mejoras o la inversión que el deudor hipotecario efectúe en el inmueble respectivo.
