Modifíquese el inciso primero del artículo 7.2.1.1.6 del Decreto 2555 de 2010 el cual quedará así: "ARTÍCULO 7.2.1.1.6 Solicitud de protección como "cliente inversionista". Al momento de clasificar a un cliente como "inversionista profesional", los intermediarios de valores deberán informarle que tiene derecho a solicitar el tratamiento de "cliente inversionista", de manera general o de manera particular respecto de un tipo de operaciones en el mercado de valores. En este último evento, el "inversionista profesional" podrá solicitar tal protección cada vez que se inicie la realización del nuevo tipo de operaciones. El cambio de categoría deberá constar en cualquier medio verificable.".
