El Poder Ejecutivo, de acuerdo con el Consejo Superior de Sanidad, procederá inmediatamente a dictar y poner en práctica todas las medidas necesarias para localizar y extinguir la enfermedad infecciosa que actualmente se desarrolla en la Costa Atlántica; dichas medidas se harán extensivas a cualquiera otra región del país donde se presente la peste, la fiebre amarilla o el cólera.
