Datos y fuentes de información. Los datos básicos relativos a los eventos objeto de vigilancia, así como las fuentes y procedimientos para su recolección, consolidación, procesamiento, transferencia, análisis y difusión, serán definidos según los modelos y protocolos de vigilancia que se establezcan en el sistema, sin limitar requerimientos opcionales de datos adicionales que resulten pertinentes para la descripción y caracterización de los eventos vigilados.
