A quienes padezcan incapacidad física parcial se podrá conceder permiso especial hasta por dos (2) años, prorrogable a juicio de las autoridades de tránsito, siempre y cuando se encuentren habilitados en el empleo de instrumentos mecánicos u ortopédicos. En dicho permiso se especificará el tipo de vehículo que comprende la autorización.
