ARTICULO 2 º. CONCEPTO. La Licencia Ambiental es la autorización que otorga la autoridad ambiental competente, mediante acto administrativo, a una persona, para la ejecución de un proyecto, obra o actividad que conforme a la ley y a los reglamentos, puede producir deterioro grave a los recursos naturales renovables o al medio ambiente o introducir modificaciones considerables o notorias al paisaje, y en la que se establecen los requisitos, obligaciones y condiciones que el beneficiario de la Licencia Ambiental debe cumplir para prevenir, mitigar, corregir, compensar y manejar los efectos ambientales del proyecto, obra o actividad autorizada.
