El artículo 262 quedará así: "Artículo 262. El auxilio de cesantía es transmisible por causa de muerte, conforme a las reglas del Código Civil, no excluye el pago del seguro de vida colectivo obligatorio, y cuando valga cinco mil pesos ($5.000) o menos, se pagará directamente por el patrono, de acuerdo con el procedimiento establecido en el artículo 214".
