° Las autoridades o personas a quienes fueren presentados los efectos de propiedad particular, de que habla el artículo 1.°, podrán dejarlos en poder de sus dueños, como en depósito, siempre que ellos les den plena seguridad de que no serán tomados o usados por los perturbadores del orden i que serán entregados al Gobierno en el momento que los exija.
