Un busto del doctor López será colocado en el monumento que el Gobierno, en cumplimiento de esta Ley, hará construír sobre su tumba, en la entrada del Túnel de la Quiebra, del Ferrocarril de Antioquia.

Sobre la lápida conmemorativa que ese colocará en el monumento se pondrá la siguiente leyenda:

El Congreso de 1940 al doctor Alejandro López I. C., voluntad de acero y propulsor intelectual de esta magna obra.
