Las incompatibilidades que la ley establece para los Concejales principales y suplentes, rigen desde el momento de su elección, hasta el vencimiento del período respectivo. En caso de renuncia, se mantendrán por un año después de su aceptación, si faltare un lapso mayor para el vencimiento del período. Para los efectos previstos en este estatuto, se adquiere la calidad de Concejal desde el momento de la elección y se conserva hasta el vencimiento del período. CAPITULO III DE SUS ATRIBUCIONES.
