Art 3.° Reconócese al Monte de Piedad la facultad de proceder al remate de las prendas que se le depositen para seguridad de sus operaciones, de la manera como lo establezca en sus estatutos, sin ingerencia de la autoridad judicial, y sin tener que sujetarse á las prescripciones sobre remates de prendas consignadas en los artículos 2422 y 2425 del Código Civil, Sección 1 a , Capítulo 1.°, Título II, Libro 2.° del Código judicial y Título 15 del Código de Comercio.
