A falta de tratados internacionales y a condición de reciprocidad, la autoridad aeronáutica podrá reconocer las licencias otorgadas en el extranjero, siempre que éstas hayan sido expedidas válidamente por la autoridad competente y que los requisitos de expedición sean equivalentes a los exigidos por la ley colombiana.
