El tiempo de estudios para cada becado no será en ningún caso inferior al estrictamente necesario para terminar sus estudios de especialización en el instituto a que fuere destinado, a menos que el aprovechamiento del estudiante no sea satisfactorio.

Parágrafo

Las Legaciones o Consulados colombianos en los países en donde se realicen estos estudios tomarán directamente, cada mes, de la escuela o instituto, informes sobre el aprovechamiento y puntualidad del estudiante y los enviarán originales al Gobierno.
