Obligación de la atención . Ninguna persona que preste sus servicios en el área de la salud o institución de salud se podrá negar a prestar la atención que requiera una persona infectada, por el Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana (VIH) asintomática o enferma del Síndrome de Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida (SIDA), según asignación de responsabilidades por niveles de atención, so pena de incurrir en una conducta sancionable de conformidad con las disposiciones legales; salvo las excepciones contempladas en la Ley 23 de 1981.
