Los Suboficiales y Agentes de la Policía Nacional serán invariablemente retirados del servicio al cumplir cincuenta años de edad.

Parágrafo

Exceptúanse aquellos que al llegar a esa edad les falten tres años o menos para completar veinte de servicio, cumplidos los cuales serán retirados.
