Si el deudor vendiere la cosa empeñada, el comprador tendrá derecho para pedir al acreedor su entrega, pagando o consignando el importe de la deuda por la cual se contrajo espresamente el empeño.

Se concede igual derecho a la persona a quien el deudor hubiere conferido un título oneroso para el goce o tenencia de la prenda.

En ninguno de estos casos podrá el primer acreedor escusarse de la restitución, alegando otros créditos, aún con los requisitos enumerados en el artículo 2426.
