El pago diario y completo de las raciones se les hará de preferencia á cualquier otro gasto del servicio nacional. Cuando por razón de campaña ó del despoblado en que esté situada la tropa, sea preciso suministrar la ración en especie, en ningún caso podrá cargarse como valor de ellas una suma mayor de cuarenta centavos diarios á cada individuo.
