El mandatario no podrá exceder los límites de su encargo.
Los actos cumplidos más allá de dichos límites sólo obligarán al mandatario, salvo que el mandante los ratifique.
El mandatario podrá separarse de las instrucciones, cuando circunstancias desconocidas que no puedan serle comunicadas al mandante, permitan suponer razonablemente que éste habría dado la aprobación.
