Para efectos del presente decreto, se entenderán como Organizaciones Civiles de Desminado Humanitario cualquier organización no gubernamental, nacional o internacional, cuyo objeto social sea el desarrollo de tareas o actividades de desminado humanitario, siempre que cumplan con los estándares y se sometan a los procedimientos de certificación y de aval contenidos en el presente decreto.
