La Jefatura del Servicio Religioso Castrense, se encargará de efectuar el servicio funerario para el personal militar y civil de las Fuerzas Militares, en servicio activo o en goce de asignación de retiro o pensión, que conforme a las disposiciones legales vigentes tenga derecho al pago de gastos de entierro y que fallezca en el país o fuera de él y deba ser inhumado en la guarnición de Bogotá.
