Son Suboficiales Técnicos de la Fuerza Aérea todos aquellos formados, capacitados y entrenados con la finalidad principal de colaborar con los Oficiales en la ejecución de las operaciones aéreas y para cumplir funciones complementarias o de mantenimiento tanto en tierra como a bordo de aeronaves militares.
