El Consejo Profesional Nacional de Ingeniería podrá cancelar la matrícula a los individuos comprendidos en el artículo 50 y en el inciso segundo del artículo 80 de la presente Ley, cuando se compruebe el mal uso que de dicha matrícula se hubiere hecho por razones de notoria incompetencia.
