Campo de aplicación. El presente Capítulo es aplicable a las entidades empleadoras entendidas como instituciones de prestación de servicios de salud de la red pública y Direcciones y/o Secretarías Departamentales, Distritales y Municipales de Salud, que tengan a su cargo empleados públicos y trabajadores oficiales que se dedican a la prestación de los servicios de salud, a los cuales se hará referencia en este Capítulo con el término genérico de servidores públicos.
