El que por imprudencia o negligencia, o por falta de conocimientos en su oficio o profesión, o por no cumplir los reglamentos u órdenes existentes, fuere causa de que surja el peligro de un desastre en las vías férreas, será castigado con prisión por dos a veinte meses y multa de cinco a trescientos pesos; pero si resultare efectivamente el desastre, la prisión será de uno a seis años.
