° En caso de que llegue a construirse una vía de ferrocarril por una de las de herradura, de que trata la presente Ley, al través de la Cordillera Central, cesará de ser de cargo de la Nación el camino respectivo, y cada Departamento por donde atraviese aquél cuidará de su conservación y mejora en la parte que corresponda a su territorio.
