º. Precedencia de la Medalla. Para efectos de orden de precedencia de condecoraciones que trata el artículo 7º del Decreto 1880 de 1988, la "Medalla Deportiva de las Fuerzas Armadas", sucederá a la Medalla Militar "General José Hilario López Valdés", creada mediante Decreto número 1974 del 09 de octubre de 1999.
