º El artículo 13 del Decreto 2396 de 1954, quedará así: "Artículo 13. Son funciones del Canciller

a)

Elaborar las actas del Consejo.

b)

Suministrar las informaciones que los miembros del Consejo soliciten en relación con asuntos de la Orden.

c)

Cumplir las comisiones que le sean confiadas por el Gran Maestre o el Gran Canciller.

d)

Avisar a todos los miembros del Consejo la fecha en que se efectúen las sesiones.

e)

Recibir, tramitar y despachar la correspondencia del Consejo.

f)

Concurrir a todas las ceremonias de entrega de condecoraciones llevando a tales actos las correspondientes veneras y haciendo entrega de los respectivos diplomas.

g)

Llevar el registro de los miembros de la Orden, tanto militares como civiles, nacionales o extranjeros".
