La dirección de los laboratorios de salud pública departamentales y del Distrito Capital estará a cargo de las correspondientes direcciones territoriales de salud, las cuales deberán garantizar el cumplimiento de las competencias en materia de vigilancia en salud pública, vigilancia y control sanitario.
