El odontólogo está obligado a atender a cualquier persona que solicite sus servicios con carácter de urgencia, si el caso corresponde a su especialidad. De no ser así, ayudará al paciente a encontrar un profesional que lo atienda adecuadamente, quien luego lo remitirá a su propio odontólogo informándole del tratamiento ejecutado.
