Las firmas del acta serán autenticadas por el Alcalde del Distrito, y la de éste por el gobernador del departamento o por el juez del Circuito a que pertenezca el Municipio solicitante, los cuales, hechas las autenticaciones, remitirán el acta a la comisión Legislativa. Cuando la autenticación de las firmas la haga el Juez del Circuito, el consejo municipal dará aviso al Gobernador del Departamento en oficio o por el telégrafo de la petición que ha dirigido a la comisión Legislativa.
