Definición. Constituye capacitación el conjunto de acciones y procesos educativos, graduados, que se ofrecen permanentemente a los docentes en servicio oficial y no oficial para elevar su nivel académico. La capacitación estará a cargo del Ministerio de Educación Nacional, de las Secretarías Seccionales de Educación y de las instituciones privadas debidamente facultadas para ello.
