Para que los Fondos Ganaderos puedan efectuar operaciones de redescuento de operaciones de crédito ante Finagro, deberán tener por lo menos un depositario por cada cuatrocientos (400) salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes (s.m.l.m.v.), que compongan su patrimonio líquido, según certificación expedida por el Revisor Fiscal, con base en el Balance General, con corte al 31 de diciembre del año inmediatamente anterior.
