Ampliación del plazo de inscripción . Cuando en los concursos abiertos o de ascenso no se inscriban al menos cinco (5) aspirantes, deberá ampliarse el plazo de inscripción por un término igual al inicialmente previsto. Si al vencimiento del nuevo plazo no se inscribiere el número mínimo de aspirantes señalado en el inciso anterior, el concurso se declarará desierto por el Procurador General o su delegado. Por necesidades del servicio, el concurso se podrá realizar con las personas inscritas, aunque no se reúna el número mínimo de inscritos exigido.
