º. La Secretaría Técnica del Comité será ejercida por la Dirección General Forestal y de Vida Silvestre del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, o la dependencia que haga sus veces, y tendrá las siguientes funciones

Convocar las sesiones ordinarias y extraordinarias del Comité;

Elaborar las actas de las reuniones;

Recopilar y presentar información que contribuya al cumplimiento de las funciones encomendadas al Comité;

Elaborar informes sobre las actividades adelantadas por el Comité;

Mantener informados a los miembros del Comité acerca de los asuntos relacionados con las funciones del mismo, y

Las demás que sean necesarias para el funcionamiento del Comité.
