º. Características. La Medalla Cívica "Camilo Torres" será de oro para la primera categoría y de plata para la segunda. Tendrá cuatro centímetros de diámetro y ostentará en el anverso el busto en relieve de Camilo Torres rodeado de una corona de laurel, igualmente en relieve, con la inscripción: "Colombia Medalla Cívica Camilo Torres". En el reverso llevará el escudo nacional y la leyenda "Homenaje de la República a los Educadores Más Meritorios Decreto número 3436 del 5 de octubre de 1948".

Parágrafo

La medalla estará pendiente de una cinta muaré, con los colores nacionales, de cuatro centímetros de ancho.
