Otorgamiento. Para conferir la Medalla “Soldado Juan Bautista Solarte Obando” solamente se observarán los requisitos citados en el artículo anterior. No se tendrán en cuenta las demás disposiciones de este capítulo que se refieren a las Órdenes Militares.

La Medalla es otorgada por disposición del Comandante de la respectiva Fuerza, previa solicitud en la que se cumplan las exigencias estipuladas para su merecimiento, y se debe publicar por la orden del día de la Fuerza.

El libro de control de estas condecoraciones, se lleva en la Jefatura de Desarrollo Humano o quien haga sus veces de la respectiva Fuerza.
