Sistema de información. El Sistema de Información de las Instituciones Programas de Educación para el Trabajo y el Desarrollo Humano es el conjunto de fuentes procesos, herramientas y usuarios, que articulados entre sí posibilitan y facilitan la recopilación, divulgación y organización de la información sobre esta modalidad de educación.

Tendrá como objetivos:

Informar a la comunidad sobre las instituciones y programas de educación para el trabajo y el desarrollo humano y su respectiva certificación de calidad.

Servir como herramienta para la determinación de políticas educativas a nivel nacional y territorial, planeación, monitoreo, evaluación, asesoría, inspección y vigilancia.
