Para toda importación al Puerto Libre de San Andrés y Providencia deberá obtenerse, previamente, un Registro de Importación Especial expedido por la Intendencia, en donde consten, entre otros datos, los siguientes: Nombre del importador, número del registro en la Cámara de Comercio, número del registro en el Registro Especial de Comercio e Industria de la Intendencia, descripción de la mercancía, país de compra de la mercancía, y los demás que se estimen necesarios.
