Las actividades de exploración y explotación de hidrocarburos en yacimientos convencionales continentales y costa afuera deberán observar los estándares y normas técnicas nacionales e internacionales y especialmente las recomendadas por el AGA, API, ASTM, NFPA, NTCICONTEC, RETIE o aquellas que las modifiquen o sustituyan.
