SECCION DE SERVICIO NACIONAL DE INSCRIPCION. Son funciones de la Sección de Servicio Nacional de Inscripción las siguientes

Conformar y mantener el archivo central del registro de personas y su estado civil, asignándoles el correspondiente número de identificación.

Producir y suministrar las estadísticas derivadas de los registros.

Asesorar a las entidades encargadas de llevar el registro civil sobre la manera de captar información a través de los registros.

Realizar los estudios tendientes a mejorar los procesos manuales y automatizados para la prestación del servicio.

Presentar al Jefe de la División de Servicios Informáticos los informes que le sean solicitados sobre el desarrollo de sus funciones.

Las demás que le sean asignadas y correspondan a la naturaleza de la Sección.
