º . Modifícase el artículo 18 del Decreto 1697 de 1994, el cual quedará así: Articulo 18 . Término de duración y ampliación del cubrimiento inicialmente autorizado. Las concesiones y licencias serán otorgadas por un término de cinco (5) años, prorrogables por un lapso igual al inicial. Para que los concesionarios o licenciatarios puedan ampliar el cubrimiento inicialmente autorizado, requerirán permiso previo del Ministerio de Comunicaciones.
