Los funcionarios públicos municipales no podrán nombrar para cargo alguno a su cónyuge, compañero o compañera permanente, o parientes dentro del cuarto grado de consanguinidad, segundo de afinidad o primero civil. A los funcionarios que el Alcalde designe les está prohibido también nombrar a personas que tengan dichos nexos con el Alcalde. Es nulo todo nombramiento que se haga con violación a esta norma.
