Artículo primero. La vacunación antivariólica en la República de Colombia, es obligatoria para todos los habitantes, a partir de los tres meses de edad.

Parágrafo

Se exceptúan de la vacunación antivariólica obligatoria, aquellas personas que por motivo de enfermedad no deban ser vacunadas lo cual deberá acreditarse por medio de la certificación médica correspondiente.
