El Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar deberá integrar un Banco de Datos sobre violencia intrafamiliar, para lo cual todas las autoridades encargadas de recibir las denuncias y tramitarlas, actualizarán semestralmente la información necesaria para adelantar investigaciones que contribuyan a la prevención y erradicación de la violencia intrafamiliar.
