Art. 26°. Las controversias de los indígenas entre sí, por asuntos del Resguardo, podrán ser sometidas a juicio de árbitros y transadas conforme á las leyes comunes, interviniendo los respectivos protectores. Pero los pleitos entre comunidades de indígenas y otros particulares por razón del Resguardo, no podrán ser sometidos a arbitramentos, ni transados.
