El Gobierno Nacional ejercerá a través del Instituto Colombiano de la Juventud y el Deporte, Coldeportes, o de las Juntas Administradoras Seccionales de Deportes, entre otras, las siguientes atribuciones con respecto a los organismos deportivos

Nombrar sus representantes a las asambleas;

Solicitar informes sobre su gestión y adelantar investigaciones e imponer los correctivos necesarios;

Inspeccionar los libros y documentos que estime conveniente, previa investigación;

Decidir sobre las impugnaciones que se formulen contra los actos de los órganos de dirección, administración y control.
