Los ejidos rurales formados por terrenos quebrados o que no sean fértiles, podrán ser vendidos en pública subasta siguiendo las reglas generales. Es absolutamente prohibida la venta de ejidos situados en las hoyas de los ríos Lily, Meléndez, Cañaveralejo, Cali, sus afluentes y vertientes que se encuentren en la misma zona, la cual se declara reserva forestal, a fin de evitar la disminución de las corrientes de esas aguas.
