ARTICULO 18. De las facultades. Las facultades constituyen una de las estructuras básicas de organización académica de la Universidad. Estarán encargadas de administrar, conforme al presente Decreto y a los estatutos y reglamentos adoptados por el Consejo Superior Universitario, programas curriculares de pregrado y posgrado, de investigación, y de extensión, el personal académico y administrativo y los bienes y recursos que se les asignen. Serán dirigidas y orientadas por un Decano y un Consejo de Facultad.
