Los gerentes de las zonas francas y los representantes del sector público en sus Juntas Directivas no podrán, ni por sí, ni por interpuesta persona, ser directores, administradores o funcionarios de las empresas instaladas en la respectiva entidad, ni celebrar contratos en la zona, salvo cuando se refieran directamente al ejercicio de la representación legal de la respectiva zona franca o en los casos taxativamente previstos en el Decreto-ley 222 de 1983 y en las normas, que lo modifiquen, adicionen, complementen o sustituyan.
